Augustus Hotel and Resort - Forte dei Marmi

Exclusive Villa Ines Suite

2026

In the heart of Forte dei Marmi,  Villa Ines has been transformed into an intimate villa conceived as a sophisticated yet informal summer retreat, where architecture engages in a dialogue with materials, light, and the coastal landscape.

The project draws inspiration from the relaxed elegance of Italian Mediterranean homes from the 1950s and 1960s. Their defining stylistic features are reinterpreted through a contemporary language shaped by natural textures, luminous color palettes, and decorative details with a strong sense of identity.

Every space has been designed as a sensory experience: tactile, luminous, and welcoming.

The design alternates textured surfaces with bold graphic elements, creating a continuous dialogue between softness and structure. Stripes, glazed green moldings, woven patterns, and botanical prints become narrative elements that flow throughout the interiors.

A specific image guided the project: the early afternoon light filtering through the green shutters of a seaside villa, reflecting off glossy ceramics, natural fabrics, and richly textured surfaces shaped by the sun.

The result is a deeply sensory home, where interior design does not merely decorate but creates an emotional experience shaped by light, texture, and memory.

More than a villa, it is a way of imagining life: sun-filled, elegant, and intrinsically Mediterranean.
